How to find us:

All roads lead to the White Buffalo Resort, but here are some of the most frequently used routes:

Special Note: Despite our remote location, there are smoothly paved roads all the way to our property. The only gravel your tires should touch is on our property, where all the roads are flat. If your GPS tries to take you down any other gravel roads (i.e. Newts Rd), don't do it!!!

From points West and South.

​East on U.S. 62/412 toward Mountain Home. Go through the small towns of Flippin, Cotter and 2 miles past Gassville. Just opposite a large tractor and farm implement dealer, turn right onto highway 126 south (there is a small blue sign for the White Buffalo Resort near the tractor dealer). Stay on 126 south for 12 miles. 5 miles down highway 126 you will turn right at a four way stop. Go to the end of the road, cross the railroad tracks, turning left at our sign into our drive. You are here!

From East and North.

​East on U.S. 62/412 toward Mountain Home. Go through the small towns of Flippin, Cotter and 2 miles past Gassville. Heading North on AR 5.

1 mile north of Norfork, turn left on highway 201 for 6 miles until you reach the old Shady Grove Grocery Store (the business is closed) on the left. Turn left onto County Road 57 just in front of the grocery store. Follow CR57 4 miles to a 4-way stop. Continue straight ahead, picking up Rt. 126. Follow 126 for 7 miles to the end, cross the railroad tracks and turn left at our sign into our drive. You are here!

Coming south on AR 5.

In Midway, take a right onto highway 126. When it intersects with U.S. 62/412 at Gassville, turn left for two miles. Just opposite a large tractor and farm implement dealer, turn right onto highway 126 south (there is a small blue sign for the White Buffalo Resort near the tractor dealer). Stay on 126 south for 12 miles. 5 miles down highway 126 you will turn right at a four way stop. Go to the end of the road, cross the railroad tracks, turning left at our sign into our drive. From Major Metropolitan Areas:

LITTLE ROCK, AR -
Approximately 150 miles Take I-40 west to Conway, then north on U.S. 65 to Marshall. At Marshall, take AR 27 east to Harriet where you take a left on AR 14. Continue traveling north, crossing the Buffalo National River, until you reach Yellville. Turn right on U.S. 62/412. Follow instructions from Harrison / Yellville.

 

DALLAS, TX -
Approximately 550 miles Take I-30 north to Little Rock. Follow instructions from Little Rock

 

MEMPHIS, TN -
Approximately 200 miles Take I-40 west to West Memphis, AR, then I-55 north 16 miles to U.S. 63. Take U.S. 63 north to Hardy, AR, then take U.S. 62/412 west to Mountain Home. Follow instructions from Mountain Home

 

ST. LOUIS, MO -
Approximately 300 miles Take I-44 south to Lebanon, MO. Then take MO 5 south through Ava, Mansfield and Gainesville to the state line, where the highway becomes AR 5. Follow instructions for south on Highway 5.

 

SPRINGFIELD, MO -
Approximately 130 miles Take U.S. 65 south to Harrison, AR Follow instructions from Harrison.

 

KANSAS CITY, MO -
Approximately 300 miles Take U.S. 71 south to Harrisonville, then MO 7 to Clinton. From Clinton, take MO 13 to Springfield. Follow instructions from Springfield.

 

TULSA, OK -
Approximately 230 miles Take U.S. 412 east toward Harrison. Follow instructions from Harrison.

 

SPRINGDALE/FAYETTEVILLE, AR -
Approximately 150 miles Travel east on U.S. 62/412. Follow instructions from Harrison.

 

FORT SMITH, AR -
Approximately 190 miles Take U.S. 71 north to Springdale. Follow instructions from Springdale.

 

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -
Approximately 330 miles Take I-44 Tulsa or I-40 to Ft. Smith then follow instructions from Ft. Smith.
